        Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Online Money Advisor.

        Who are you?

We are the same people who brought you Online Mortgage Advisor. We launched Online Mortgage Advisor over 8 years ago to ensure that everybody who’s in the market to buy a property gets the right advice.

By completely changing the way we thought about how people apply for and get mortgages we developed a system that ensures speaking to the wrong advisor will never get in the way of an eligible customer’s path to the property ladder.

After helping countless customers, many of whom had been turned away by mortgage lenders in the past, get the home finance they need, we applied that same customer-focused formula to other financial services and Online Money Advisor was born.

Our goal is to turn the industry on its head and make people realise that advice isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for most people.

        How does it work?

We help customers find expert advice by introducing them to a financial advisor that is best positioned to cater for their needs and circumstances, whether that’s a specialist pensions advisor, an insurance broker, a solicitor, a financial advisor or anything else.

We handpick the experts that we work with and we’re selective about the ones we choose. We match customers with these advisors to ensure that they get the right advice every time, whatever their background.

        How are you free?

Making an enquiry with us won’t cost you a penny and the experts we work with will only charge on success. We only get paid when the advisor successfully helps you get what you need, so it’s in our interest for you to get the service you need. This success-only model is one of the many things that sets us apart from other introducers, many of whom are charged an upfront fee and aren’t incentivised to be of help to those who enquire.

Is my data safe and secure?

We take data security very seriously and are very proactive about GDPR compliance. You can read more in our privacy policy.

What is the best way to contact you?

You choose! If your enquiry is urgent and within business hours we’d suggest you pick up the phone. Otherwise, head out to our contact page and get in touch with us that way.
